Shimmerleaf turns into a purple box

I'm currently having problems with shimmerleaf either turning into a purple box or being invisible. I am running no texture packs. What could be the cause for this?

What mod pack are you playing in and what is the version of that mod pack?

I am running the Ultimate Pack. On default Textures they turn to purple boxes. with texture packs they go invisible.[DOUBLEPOST=1368576285][/DOUBLEPOST]This is now happening to me with Root Strands and TorchBerries

Do the textures only break in one world/do you see the textures of these items in a new world using the Ultimate pack?

I'm also getting this, with many thaumcraft things, like the blaze thingy bobs and silver wood saplings, in all of my world's.

I found out that The NEI Highlight tips was the cause (I had them turned on). When they are off and I perform the same action they are fine and everything is dandy. Hope that helps others.
