Well, here goes. . My IGN is XZShadowZZ, in real life I am 16 years old, and I want to join SheepHaven FTB Server. I can vaguely remember the first time I played Minecraft. At first, I had the impression that Minecraft was just about legos in 3D. But when I finally caved into peer pressure and bought the game, I fell in love. I believe I started in Beta 1.7.3. Since then, I've been an avid Minecraft fan. Too much, you might say. It was probably when I started to get bored of Minecraft that I fell into the vast world of modding. Direwolf's videos seemed really cool, and then the Technic Pack finally allowed me to have some fun with tech mods. In that first Technic world, I learned a ton about all of the tech mods available currently. But, truth to be told, I'm still pretty new to Factorization and Thermal Expansion.
Now, you probably want to hear a bit about my actual experience with these mods. I'm probably most familiar with Industrial Craft 2 and Buildcraft working together. It comes from watching Youtube videos, as even Direwolf recommends starting out with IC2. Hopefully you've seen some of his videos, and if you haven't, so check out Direwolf20. Noob as I am, even watching the Tekkit series on the Yogscast was very informative, and I learned from there as well. Forestry I understand, but beekeeping is a foreign technology that I have yet to touch. I would love to get into Twilight Forest, but as it's not really a tech mod, I'm not sure if I'm supposed to mention that here.
Finally, the most important part. I want to join this server because I have been on the search for good FTB servers for almost two weeks by now, and I have yet to find one that suits my needs. I don't ask for much. A place to set up shop without griefing, and a community which is tight-knit and can help each other out when necessary. I'm sure that if you whitelist me, then I can contribute to this community with builds, machines, and help.
I hope this app catches your attentions, and here's hoping to an acception response!!!
EDIT: Oops, forgot to put in the part about what I like outside of Minecraft. Silly me. Outside of Minecraft, I tend to enjoy a nice bit of school, with too much homework for my liking. Despite all this, I still find time to play FTB in my spare time. I enjoy pie in the mornings, or maybe cereal. As usual, the school lunches are terrifyingly horrible, and dinner is great at home. I do have a life outside FTB, contrary to what I may have led you to believe, and sometimes, though unfortunate to you, not me, I hang out with friends. Obviously, hanging out with friends is during spare time, which may cut on Feed The Beast time. But don't worry, I'll try to be active, just don't get mad when I forget.
