Unless the river is clean water you still need it right? I think I have an idea to get it easier. *Tzet walks away, not in the direction of the river*
 
*Zya walks around the hut and gathers some more seeds. She then makes a makeshift hoe (the farming tool. Geez.)*
 
*Tzet melts some stones, some of them have pieces in them that don't melt very well, Tzet collects those things as he knows what it is: metal*
 
*Tzet goes back to the camp after he collected some of it and sort the pieces, he then heats them up in his hands and makes various items out of it. After he puts it together he wants Kuro to get some water and put it in the thing he made.
Tzet puts it on a small fire and a few moments later clean water starts to slowly drip out of one side of the thing. Tzet used some of the metal left to make something to store it in.*

Not the fastest thing ever but it should do the trick.

That is why I made it, so you and Kuro have something to drink. Now, lets make sure we can stay dry in our home.
*Tzet walks away gathering materials to strengthen the hut*
 
*Tzet strengthens the hut and then tries to find some food that would go well with the left overs of the boar as it still has enough meat on it*

The magic from my species is pretty straight forward, I can control fire,lava and heat.I can also make fire and heat whenever I want.
The mist is a bit more complex. As it has many ways to be used. I can compress it and if dense enough it will form shadow-steel. Shadow-steel is almost unbreakable, however it needs constant focus as it quickly evaporates back in normal mist if you forget about it.

The mist can also enter someone and can even enter someone thoughts and stick to it, allowing me to reshape it or get them out of its owner. The mist can also stick to living beings, allowing me to control them using the mist. After all those years being stuck in the world where I learned to use it the mist got stuck on every part of me allowing me to practically become the mist for a certain amount of time.
