*in response to whoever saying that I seemed pretty well at home here*
/Wy-whoever
This place isn't really my home. Sure, I can survive here, but so far as I've seen, this world lacks the variety of raw materials that I need to do my work efficiently. The ideal thaumaturge's homeworld would be sparsely populated, and rich with both mineral wealth and a diversity of terrain and life. It also needs to be near enough to this one particular dimension that, as far as I can tell, consists of pure energy such that the energy leaks through in places, so I can store it in wands and staves and use it to power all kinds of magical machinery, not just these foci. *holds up a handful of orbs of different colors*
So no, I'll probably leave this world sometime in the near but not immediate future, but I'll certainly stay here until Tzet's work is complete, and help out as I can.
*when Tzet tells me that Shadia disappeared*
/Wy-Tz
I'll help look for her. The most efficient way might be to look from outside of this plane, from the Blind Eternities... I'll get on it.
*equips planeswalking focus to staff*
*concentrates for a moment*
*vanishes*
*floats around outside the plane of... what's this world called, again?*
*scans each and every building in the city, inside and out*
*glimpses someone who might be Shadia in one of the darker and sketchier buildings*
*starts to run out of breath*
*gets an idea*
*materializes on EVE's ship*
*crafts a pair of magic mirrors, similar to the one Shadia used to come to Tzet's world, except smaller*
*planeswalks back to just outside Tzet's world*
*confirms that Shadia is either in serious trouble or up to no good*
*materializes somewhere in the building where nobody's looking at the moment*
*plants one of the mirrors*
*vanishes again*
*reappears in Tzet's throne room*

Well, I found Shadia, and she's alive, but I'm not sure what happened to her or what she's up to. I did, however, leave a mirror much like this one in an inconspicuous location in the room she's in, so we can still find out what's going on. This mirror is linked to that one, so any light, sound, and even small objects that pass into one will come out the other.
*shows Tzet how to use the mirror and turn it on and off*
