*Cedric changes, then eats the food. Afterword, Shadia notices him putting on a pair of gauntlets. The left gauntlet has what appears to be some kind of gem set into the back. The right gauntlet extends down his arm and has six metal objects, descending down his arm, slotted into it. The right gauntlet also has some sort of node-looking thing in the palm.*
