Greetings.
For a while now, I've been hosting a Minecraft server without lag, no Hamachi. Me and my friends decided to play Feed the Beast Mind Crack, however the server lags horribly. Mobs twitch around and sometime just don't function, blocks require mining around 3 times and then there's a delay between that and the drop, if you take fall damage you have a 5 second delay before it actually registers.

System specs:
Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) II X4 635 Processor 2.90 GHz
Installed memory (RAM): 4.00 GB
System type: 64-bit operating System

Java is up to date, and single player runs fine. I have disabled modular force field systems and Xycraft and it changed nothing. Thanks ahead of time to anyone who can help.

Sounds like a network issue (ping specifically) to me.
However, to rule out the possibility of server lag, install:
http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1548779-1476-ticks-per-second-v0411/
And run /tps ingame. If it's >17 or so, the server is fine.

i have a similar problem the server is on a dedi and the lowest TPS i've seen is 17 and that was once i almost always see 20 but its gotten to the point where i timeout sometimes and a few of my other players have the same problem it appears that something in mindcrack is insanely demanding on bandwidth so much so that only the best broadband connections to a server can handle it
