[SEVERE] ForgeModLoader unable to launch

After updating Direwolf20 to version 1.0.8, the launcher is not working, saying that ForgeModloader is unable to launch

According to the line from your log below you are using java 6 not 7.

To open the launcher, I cannot simply click the launcher (mac), I have to enter Terminal and use this

cd ~/Desktop/FTBeast/export JAVA_HOME=/System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions/1.6/Home java -jar FTB_Launcher.jar

that has been the case for over a year, and i do have Java 7 update 45
