Hey all! I've had ServerTools listed on the Minecraft Forums for a while, and thought it could be useful to people in the FTB community.

ServerTools is a server administration mod that adds a variety of utilities, commands, and even a simple permission system. It is designed to be installed server-side only and is mainly targeted at small to mid-sized servers (probably isn't the best choice for public servers with 200+ users).

Have this running on my server to do world backups. Very helpful, but I wish the backup system was a little more robust. For instance I would like to make a world backup more frequent when players are connected but less or not at all if no players are connected. Maybe even specify a range of chunks that get backed up in the world so I dont have to backup the entire 10GB of overworld when I really only maybe need the first 300MB backed up. I've got other ideas, but this may not be the preferred place for them :).

I plan on overhauling the backup system sometime soon, still trying to figure out how exactly I want to do it. Ideas are always welcome! Best place for them is on the github issue tracker here: https://github.com/matthewprenger/ServerTools/issues

I added several of my ideas to your github. I'm not sure how feasible any of them are, but I hoped it would at least add to anything you might already be considering.

Additionally as you update there is a thread specifically for letting people know about updates to mods. Might want to give yourself a shout out there as you update.
 
so this mod is really cool, but it is screwing with my singleplayer worlds. Some commands it tells me i cant do and i dont know how to make myself admin on a singleplayer world... I didnt know that was even possible. So can someone help me maybe? Thanks!
