I am having some issues with getting the new Monster pack to start on my server. I am using the latest version 1.0.4 on a server that is 64bit, has 4gb of ram allocated, and is dedicated. Whenever I try to start the server it gets almost all the way through and then fails giving an outofmemoryerror. For some reason, it won't give me a crash log, and it just keeps restarting over and over. I have managed to get a little copy of some of what the logs say as it crashes, hopefully it will help out a little.

The log should be read bottom first.

Not really sure about server errors, but for out of memory errors I suggest trying these server arguments. You might also want to use the launcher argument version on the clients.

I did change a few of the arguments, earlier, with no success. This is what it looks like currently.
java -Xms2048m -Xmx3072m -XX:permSize=512m -jar FTBServer-1.6.4-965.jar nogui

I have also done it on my own client too. The server has been tested with both vanilla and FTB Unleashed 1.1.4. Monster is the only pack, that I have tested, that is giving me issues.

If you've tried the arguments exactly as they are provided in the thread then I'm out of ideas. If not please use them as they are. Eyamaz works hard on those arguments and updates them pretty frequently.

I tried again, copying exactly what was in the space for servers, and still no luck. Thanks though.

Don't bump threads. It is against the forum rules. Next, Multicraft ate the crash log, go into the actual file and paste the contents of that to pastebin, otherwise open ForgeModLoader-server-1.log and paste the contents of that to pastebin.

Sorry, I was unaware that bumping was an issue. Like the guy above me said, I cannot post the forgemodloader-server-1.log because it exceeds the data limit on pastebin. What I posted before seems like the extent of the issues that it has listed.

I may of found the issue, if your host is using a custom startup script to limit permsize, that might be the issue for your server not loading. You may need to check with your host or change your own permsize/maxpermsize to 256 or 512 to get a world generated. I sent in a ticket to my host to request the permsize limit to be changed and I will update if that worked or not.

[SEVERE] [Minecraft-Server] Encountered an unexpected exception OutOfMemoryError
java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: PermGen space

Check your forgemodloader log to see if you have this outofmemoryerror

I have it upgraded, as it shows earlier in the post. I don't get a PermGen Space error.
