Server Startup Problem

When I download a Modpack Server to play with my friends I click on the forge server startup nothing happens. I try opening the server again and nothing happens and that is the same case with every modpack I try. Please help me solve this.
 
There should be an FTBInstall.bat, run that first and after that run LaunchServer.bat. If that doesn't work post the log.

I don't understand I have 1 FTBServer file that starts server with mods and then 2 regualr ServerStart. WHen I start the server with FTBServer it does nothing.

Yes when I try to open the FTBServer launcher file to start the server with mods the launcher does not open. So thats why I am asking for help to get the file to start the server.
 
What server are you trying to run and what file are you trying to start it with. Are there any logs in the logs folder.
 
Don't run the .jar file. Use the ServerStart.bat if you are on windows or ServerStart.sh if on Linux or Mac.

If the ServerStart doesn't work there should be a log in the logs folder, out that in pastebin and post the link.

Nvm I fixed the problem by downloading forge as server start file and used that file instead of the FTB Server starter, its just that FTB is the most buggiest modpack launcher ive ever used its horrible. Thanks fofr trying to help me.
