Server Settings to Allow Pranking

My friends and I have a server going and would like to be able to sneak up on each other, however even when holding shift to sneak we can still see each others names. Is there a server setting that needs to be changed to stop this?

Apologies if this is in the wrong area to post this. I have been looking for a thread on this but have not been able to find one.

I thought that sneaking was supposed to remove your name plate.
but you can always use invisibility potions

I tried the invis potions. And you are invisible with a floating name, so it was still easy to spot people.

Yah this makes it pretty much impossible for admins to watch over people as well. Server admins like myself are really missing a way to go completely invis without installing mcpc+.. Atleast I have not found a way

I believe in the voxelplayer menu (f9) you can toggle seeing other players names

if you're using that voxelmod then you'll always see the names, sneak or not. My advice would be to remove the entirity of the Voxelmods, all of them.

@Lambert2191 You are right you can not sneak to get rid of the name which is really unfortunate.

Wait wait wait. The Ultimate Cheat Armor (From Gregtech) allows Server Admins to spy on players with infinite invis without effects. Does it remove names?

I am not sure. It is my server but I do not give myself the ability to use commands. I keep us on an even field. So I would need something that would effect everyone equally.

Its useless the armor Might make you invis but since its armor it shows up on your character even if your invis

The Ultimate Cheat armor does not have an armor texture. Before you say something, look at the armor in your creative menu, please.

I logged on and used default ultimate, and i could see it.
