I find it hard to believe that we have to ask for permission to use anything, when in the minecraft terms and conditions it says this

"If you make any content available on or through our Game, you must give us permission to use, copy, modify and adapt that content. This permission must be irrevocable, and you must also let us permit other people to use, copy, modify and adapt your content."

Does that not mean that we have access to all mods that were posted anyway?

  1. This has been argued to death since the launcher was released. This is a choice on FTB's part on how it interacts within the mod community. If you're actually composing a private pack, the third party pack maintainer, Watchful11, has a handy guide so you know which mods have blanket permissions and which ones you'll still need to ask for. If it has the blanket permission, you're covered. Read the guide for more details.
  2. Did you really have to resurrect a 13 month dead thread to say this?
  3. Thanks for the reminder to finish going through and locking everything over a month without a reply in this forum. Locked.
  4. And so this one gets locked too.
