Well hello there!

I just set up a FTB-Unleashed server on a quite powerful server (don't have the exact stats in mind, but it's a Dell powerEdge R520) and for some reason we do have shittons of lags ingame. Started a fresh world, got a ping of 30ms and it's also smoothly running @20TPS.

But how- why- I don't get it. For some reason it's "lagging". Picking up blocks takes a second or so, fighting mobs are nearly impossible. Is there something I can do? It just makes the game unplayable atm.

I'd appreciate suggestions and stuff.

Are you hosting the server yourself?
What is your upload speed?
How many players on the server when you are experiencing the lag.
Are you connecting via external IP or internal IP? Do you get the same lag?

It's a rootserver hosted by the QSC AG in Nuremberg, Germany, not a home PC.
2-3 players atm
External ip / getting the same lag.

Brohan I can assure you that it's definitely not because of the servers performance itself or our connections.
The server doesn't even give the smallest shit about FTB's tasks. Runs below 5% cpu usage in overall. 32GB RAM, not even using 1GB atm.
*sigh* if you really wanna know it, we got an Intel Xeon E5-2400 series onboad, should be something about 6x1,8Ghz.

Also the lags appear after being online for like 10 seconds- then it becomes laggy as hell. Not only for me, but also for the other players.

The servers connection is quite self explanatory.

It's just so weird. Every other server version of Minecraft runs flawlessly (Tekkit for example), but this one just randomly lags for no reason.
