Server lag

Hello I am getting some nasty lag on my server with the Monster Pack.

Server
HP Proliant DL380 G5
Dual Xeon X5450
8 Gig mem
4 sas 72 gig drives

Internet 5 up 15 down
Only 2 players but the lag is there even if one person is on.

Any advice is welsome

Do you have enough ram allocated to the server? in the server start file right click hit edit and make sure you have a decent amount after the -Xms###. I know I had an issue with that

I have MineCraft set to 4 gig

sigh... RAM has nothing to do with lag, none!

Now that that's settled, can you provide the server .log on pastebin.com?[DOUBLEPOST=1407346096][/DOUBLEPOST]Also the xms is the startup memory xmx is how much it can use.

It keep saying did the time change or server is overloaded. With 8 cores each at 3.0 gig.
