Windows .exe Server Lag (Block Breaking/Mob Lag)

Hi, I have no idea if anyone will be able to help me, but I thought I'd try giving posting here a shot. I probably won't give nearly enough information to fix my issue, so if you need any more information, don't hesitate to ask!

My friend and I have been playing FTB for a while now on our own private server, which I host. We've gone through a lot of iterations of the modpacks and haven't had many issues. On the new 1.5.2 packs, however, we're having huge problems if I host the server. Blocks CONSTANTLY reappear/don't break at all and mobs are impossible to deal with (super laggy, creepers stand still ten blocks away from you then instantly explode on you, etc). Generally, I would assume this is simply an internet/processor issue, but that doesn't seem to be the case; I can run the 1.4.7 servers absolutely fine, with no block lag and mobs acting completely normal. It happens to both my friend and me. When he runs the server, though, we have no issues. We would prefer for me to run the server, so I'm open to trying any solution to fix it! This has been a problem for about 5 days now.

Ok Gunfire. I figured it out. The stock GUI (even without it) fucking sucks and it's just better to use something else. I had lag spikes, 100% cpu and very high ram consumption causing the animals/monsters to run and stop, run and stop, run and stop. Players were also doing the same thing... And then there was the block lag....

I can't explain it but the same happened on a high-end server. I downloaded Bukkit GUI (NOTHING ELSE) and ran the exe in my server folder. This fixed all of my problems.... Make sure you get the Bukkit GUI for version 1.5.2 if you're running unleashed still.
