Problem Server Issues

So i recently started playing FTB Infinity with my girlfriend and i have been faced with some problems that i cannot solve.
The problems are:
-I have very high ping even though the server is hosted on a pc next to the one that i use to play.

-If i start the surver using the bat file only i can connect using localhost, the public ip does not work.

- (Not related) I use shaders mod and some weird shadows follow me around which breaks my immersion.

If you could help me i would appreciate.

Have you measured your ping to the server via the ping command? If you have and that ping is good, then you probably have low tps on the server.

Also, for future reference, it is generally good to list what you have tried to do to solve the issue and why the Google results aren't helpful.

I added OPIS on the game so i can check if everything is ok and it shows that my ping fluctuates a lot.

-I already tried to clear all the entities from the server and nothing changed.

-I did a speedtest and a ping test on both computers and the results are really good.

-The avg tick is about 50 on the server but sometimes Fastcraft outputs that it skipped about 10k ticks.

Right now i am playing and hosting the server on the same computer which i do not like very much since it gives me framerate lag.

When you host the server in the problematic computer, how are the two connected? When your girlfriend joins, does she have the same issues (localhost only, high ping)?
