Server Issues - Outdated client

I downloaded the sevrer files installed them onto my server but when i try to log on using the FTB client it says out dated client

Any help fixing this would be greatly apreciated

I am having a similar problem, my client is 1.4.2, which I believe is the current ftb build, but it says the server (which is not mine, just trying to join it) is 1.4.4. Did they force an update or am I missing one?

Simple fix just use creeper host the quickest ever server set up and really fast support sorry to be a bother

Catkinisis: Are you really connecting to a FTB server? Because FTB uses minecraft version 1.4.2. If I'm not completely wrong. 1.4.4 is the new regular minecraft version not yet released in FTB.
