I was playing on a server with some friends, working fine, then i stopped being able to mine or use anything. I can go through the animation of breaking a block but it immediately respawns and uses durability of my tools. Pretty annoyed as we had only just put the server together so any help would be much appreciated.

Tech Support section is for getting help with FTB related problems. If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.

I had this problem too sometimes, it always turned out to be that the computer can't hadle running the server. So basicly the computer you run the server isn't strong enough, too many people on it or just overloaded with too many mods.
It can happen even when you try to run a modpack in singleplayer, with so many mods that the somputer unable to handle it. And another thing that can happen like your character randomly get hurt, for no reason; that also indicates that your computer not strong enought to run the server, or the modpack.
