I am currently trying to set up a 1.6.4 server with the Lapito's Galacticraft modpack and we are running into some trouble. I cannot find any downloads with outdated server files that aren't viruses. Any help regarding this would be very useful.

Why would you want outdated server files?

Also I can assure you all downloads from the FTB launcher are NOT viruses, check your firewall and antivirus program as it is most likely classifying everything downloaded from FTb as a virus because it doesn't know what it is.

I'm not entirely sure why I wrote that the way I did. What I meant was that I couldn't find a server download on FTB so I was looking around the internet for a vanilla 1.6.4 server download and couldn't find one. Any help on starting a server would be wonderful! Also, the launcher won't work on my friend's mac computer

A normal 1.6.4 jar won't work with FTB, and what part of the FTB launcher doesn't work... Does it start? Is the download button not there? Etc

Also idk why you said your friends computer, assuming you want this server you should be the one to download it- open the FTB launcher, select the pack and server then click download server on the top right. I is not a virus and if your computer says it is allow in your virus program things from creeper repo.net which is where downloads come from.

For your friend have him go install java7 macs come with a version of java6. Also be sure to go in system preferences after Java 7 is installed, then go to java control panel, and be sure it is enabled.
