Hello, you may need to get something like MCedit fired up and remove the following block
java.lang.RuntimeException: Crashing on conduit TileEntityRedNetEnergy(x=-5024,y=63,z=-1927)@972618985

I am updating my ftb server from 1.5.1 to 1.6.2, do you think it will still crash, or will it work?

For major updates it's most of the time a failure because any time Minecraft is updated (for example 1.5.x>1.6.x) It's most of the times too many changes that your world usually ends up bad.. Because I never did this specifically I don't have the exact outcomes. But if you wish to give it a wack, backing up the server then trying is not a bad option.

I delete the block you referenced, it was rednet energy cable, I have now banned it from the server, and it looks to be working, i dont know why it crashed the server though

Was it linked up in a loop? to what block? and what was the user was trying to accomplish with it? These data may lead to what may of did the crashing.

it was coming from an energy conduit, connected to a grinder and auto-spawner, no loop

Okay so it was CONNECTED to an energy conduct? If so that may of what caused the crash because I know some pipes/conducts problems happens within certain conditions. If it was not and just connected to normal machines that can accept/emit redstone then yes that is weird.
