Server crash on setting an advanced crafting table to craft diamonds out of dust

Details of the issue:
Shortly after setting a Buildcraft Advanced Crafting Table to craft diamonds using diamond dust, the server crashed. It immediately crashed again on logging back in after restarting, with the same error. Rolled the world back to remove offending block.​
