Server Computer Build

Hey guys.
I'm looking to build a computer that would he used solely for running a FTB monster server. If someone or multiple people could put together a list of parts ( pcpartpicker preferably ) . For a non crazy price. It will only have about a 10 slots max

Thanks but do you mind maybe finding a case that has enough ports and slots for fans and such. What about memory? I know next to nothing about compares

You obviously have no idea what OP is talking about. It's a server computer. Not a Crysis8-on-3-screens-computer

8-16 gigs of RAM should be perfect. I suggest dedicating around 5-7 gigs to the server, depending on how many people you plan to have on it. And GPU does NOT matter as far as the server goes, since it isn't rendering anything. I also highly recommend not using the client on the same computer as the server. There are several reports of that causing immense lag.

I wouldn't use alienware for a server anyway. I'd prefer building my own computer. That way I can pick and choose the parts I want. In the end, it'd probably be cheaper.

i didnt see an aftermarket cooler,would the stock be enough?someone mentioned "lots of cooling"
1333mhz ram?prices are going down now,1600mhz should only be a matter of 4 to 10 dollars more...
