Hey, so I ordered some hardware and plan to set up an infinity evolved server for me and my friends, but it seems the hardware wont be here for a week, but I want to play right away :) Got nothing else to do right now, so I was wondering how the best way to do that is.

Lets say I start a singleplayer world, can that world be converted to a multiplayer world for when I set up the server? Or is there a different way of doing it?

Thanks!

Edit: Ive gotten some responses to this elsewhere, apparently the save folder for the singleplayer world is the world folder for the server whenever i set that up, so at the most i just have to copy paste it to the server. If this is the case, then awesome, thats easy.

I guess I can ask something else then, what is the best way to pregen the world nowadays? I dont care about that for the singleplayer, but when I move it to the server, I guess it wouldnt hurt to pregen like 10k or something to reduce some lag.

Yup, it's as simple as copying over your save file onto your server. For me, using a 3rd party host, I had to rename my world folder (as I called it something else to start) to "world" (without quote marks) to make it recognize the file. Ensure that if you used BoP to generate the world in single player, that BoP is the worldgen type on your server as well, or you will get some errors.

Alright, I used BoP so I will have to remember to specify that in the serverconfig, thanks.
