Server Cant Keep up after I join

Title Server Cant Keep up after I join

Launcher Type Twitch Desktop App

Modpack Sky Factory

Modpack version 3.0.13

Have you modified the pack? No

Link to log file http://paste.feed-the-beast.com/view/06b82c58

Details of the issue Been running my own skyfactory server for a while but something went wrong a couple nights ago and I dont know how or why.
First things first I hope im doing this post correctly if not tell me what info you need.

Windows 10
I7 4790k
16gb ram
gtx 1080
Java is
Version 8 Update 121 build 1.8.0_121-b13

So then my issue is when I load my server it starts and runs normal. Then when I join it lags, I can move and put stuff down but nothing picks up and I dont think im really interacting with anything.

On the server log side it says is cant keep up and asks if the time changed. It keeps doing this cant keep up thing till I move to much or jump to much and it kicks me for floating to long then an starts spamming text like crazy.

The paste bin I linked above is a small run of me joining moving a little running debug quick and then stopping the server.

There is an error in debug and I can run that while im not connected and the server doesnt crash.
Somethings taking too long! "root" took aprox ------- ms
Somethings taking too long! "Root.enderio_all_conduit_networks_tick" took aprox ---- ms

Second thing, this is the paste bin thing for the server when I play and it starts going crazy.
It will kick me for something or if I quit it starts spamming stuff very quickly.
So much so fast that the paste bin . feed the beast site crashes and the pastebin site wont let me upload without being a pro something or other.

https://paste.ubuntu.com/25658065/
The log ends at 62868

This is the huge copy and paste of the file.

Thanks for any help. Tell me what I can do to help you out or what to look for if this happens again so I dont need to come on here and bug you guys for help.

Do you have any 3rd party firewall/antivirus or other security software on that machine?
(3rd party as in - not the ones that comes with the OS)

No sir. Nothing at all. The server has been playable for over 2 weeks between me and a couple friends but the other day it just stopped working.

Are you running this server on the same machine as you play on?

How much ram did you allocate to the server and how much to the client?

Question, is the area around where you login always loaded? There could be stuff backed up causing lag.

Yes they are one the same machine,
The twitch client I have the ram maxed out at 12288mb
and for my server I changed it to
set MIN_RAM=512M
set MAX_RAM=6072M
But nothing changed.

I was thinking that it was something I put down, but I was in the middle of making a blood alter and placing down my second smeltery. I had a bunch of garden cloches down do they cause lag in big numbers?

I can move around a little on the server before it crashes and if I get to it before it kicks me and starts going crazy and type "Stop" into the server some of what I did will save.

From what I can see, the entities are creating issues, I had a mob farm with an Ender Hopper picking things up, the conduits didn't extract fast enough which meant after like 15 minutes on the world 1000s of entities were on the ground.

Well I think you were right! The server seems to be back to normal. It wasnt 100% the mob spawner but the fact I have my wither spawner turned off and the things that were growing the mass amounts of wheat and seeds were pumping like crazy. The chest was so full I almost had to delete its inventory with creative twice.

Thank you for your help! How did you know what was going wrong? Was it obvious since it only happened with the chunks loaded?

Kinda and because it happened to me... A few times... I had to go to Peaceful ughhhh and add more item extraction conduits to keep up.

Good that you sorted this out - but you need to fix your memory settings.

12gb for the client is way too much, keep it at 4-6gb (allocating too much will/can cause issues - such as lag when GC hits).

Also you need to leave some free for the OS and other applications can take - (java it self takes more than you allocate - to keep it up and running)

If you're unlucky you'll end up with corrupt worlds.

So if you set client to 4-6 and have server to 6, then you'll have at least 4 left for the OS and other stuff.

Dropped her down to around 6, hopefully it prevents further issues!
