My friend has a good computer: 8go ram, i7 3770k and a HD 7850...
We would like do a Feed The Beast server for our with 4go of ram.
So for 2 or 3 players, 4go is OK I think.
But when I go on the server, with him or alone, I have a very big bug!
When I break a block, I don't receive the item in my inventory. So I deconnect/reconnect and there is the item in my inventory!
