Hello again everyone, and welcome back to another installment of my Config Pack. I know, I said I'd release it sooner, but things came up, I had PC issues, and most importantly, the FTB Ultimate Pack was released!

I am pleased to announce that this time, the config pack is now 100% compatible with the FTB Ultimate pack(v1.0.1)! That's right, no more changing IDs, or creating new worlds!

F.A.Q.
Q: How do I install this config pack:
A: Download the configs that you want, and extract the text file(or folder) into the config folder. *For Balkon's Weapon Mod, see note.

Q: Where is the config folder?
A: Open your FTB launcher, and click the "Edit Mod Pack" button. Then, at the bottom, click "Open Folder". From here, go up one directory and you will be in the Minecraft folder. You should see the config folder here.

Q: Can you add "xxxxx" mod?
A: Maybe. PM me, or leave a message here and I'll do my best.

Q: Will these configs work on a server?
A: Yes.

Q: After I downloaded the mods, and added in the config files, my client crashes without an error/log. Help?
A: Open your FTB launcher. Click Options. Click Advanced Options. Type

-XX:PermSize=128m
into the "Additional Java Parameters" field and hit exit. Click Mod Packs and launch again. This happens because with this many mods, Java sometimes has a problem loading all of the class files. Increasing this intrinsic memory to 128m should allow Java to load all of the class files here, and run smoothly. You can set it higher if you like. Mine's at 256.



Although I have tested this, and have confirmed that it is working for me on the Ultimate Pack(v1.0.1), I can not guarantee that this will work for you, and I cannot be held responsible for any damage done from downloading these config files. I have not seen an instance where it has failed, but it may. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me or ask here in this thread.

******NOTE******
THE BALKON WEAPON MOD'S CONFIG FOLDER IS PUT INTO THE MODS FOLDER, NOT THE CONFIG FOLDER.

This is great. We also run ultimate + other mods on our server and ID conflicts are a pain to get through when doing major updates. I cant personally use this pack since our IDs are already customized and entrenched in our world, but had this been out earlier I would have definitely used it.

Props to your efforts and to releasing your configs here. If anyone on he forum asks for help with ID conflicts, ill point them right here :)

Appreciated. Also, I wanted to note that the config for Divine RPG is out of date, and extra IDs have been added. I will update this tomorrow, or tonight depending on how work treats me. I will also be adding the condensed block mod to the config pack.

Tropicraft I had a lot of problems with, but technically I have a config that works for it. I just can't get it to work on SMP, and don't want to release a config pack that doesn't work on SMP. Dimensional Doors is awesome, but if I remember correctly, when I tried to add it, it conflicted with NEI and no items would load. I'll try it again, and I'll definitely see about getting some of the other mods there into the pack. Thanks!

Universal electricity is seperate from IC2, what Seph has done is make the block and item id's compatible. They still use different forms of power, but i think with power converters you can convert IC2 power to UE.

Power Converters is a separate mod all its own. It's included in Ultimate.

I just noticed this thread - nice job getting your config pack updated and even synced with FTB, I guess I need to step up my game now! ;D

Tropicraft I had a lot of problems with, but technically I have a config that works for it. I just can't get it to work on SMP, and don't want to release a config pack that doesn't work on SMP.

I've managed to set up Tropicraft for my merged pack of Mindcrack and DW20 for SMP, but it really was a pain to do. Here is my config - http://pastebin.com/1V95ehXw. Also, I would like to see a config for Biomes O' Plenty in the pack ;)

Oh, kk, good to know. Btw, what's called here basic components is what? can't find it on the reference link. Its the base of Universal Electricity?

Basic Components is being renamed simply Universal Electricity. It's the base mod that adds examples of all the critical features of UE. Most other UE mods obsolete its content one way or another though, but it's still available nevertheless.

Sorry in the delay for the recent update for Divine RPG and Condensed Block Mod guys. I've been having some PC problems, but I'll see what I can about getting those added before the night is over. I'll also check out the invasion mod and see what I can do there. More planned updates will be(if I can get them working): Galacticraft, Dimensional Doors.

If you have any other suggestions, feel free to leave them. Thanks!

I have a config file that works for tropicraft, but I've had problems running it on smp. I'll test it out and see what I can do.
I have used my config on SMP and it was working quite well. The only thing that didn't work as far as I remember was the portal back to overworld - had to use Mystcraft linking book to get back.

Thanks for the invasion mod feedback. A working invasion mod is pretty much the last thing i'm missing for the perfect (at least for me) client/server :D

Yay, more things to check on :)
It would be amazing to have all of the above working + invasion and tropicraft :)

Also, Universal electricity is from what i've understand interchangeable with ore dictionary, but does its counts also for the dusts of mekanism and IC2?
And is there a way to "normalize" different recipes for alloys (bronze, brass, steel, refined iron) - and be sure that only one type of ores are generated (so that there's not like 3 different coppers, etc...) having a ton of different recipes that will get a bucnh of different ingots of the same resources may be slightly complicated... :/

Edit: What mods did you add? Can't see them on the list.

To reduce the amount of ores that spawn, you'll need to disable the ore spawns from each mod. I left them all on for incompatibilities(even though I've found 0).

I haven't added any mods yet. I'm working on it as we speak, but I'm having problems getting the new version of Divine RPG to work well with Mo' Creatures. They don't seem to like each other right now, and I can't figure out why. I'll update it as soon as I can, apologies for the delays.

No worrie, i was wondering if it was just a display error on my part that i don't see the updates. ;)

But the alloys and dusts are all compatible with each other, right?
Oh, and did you tweak anything with forestry backpacks to make them accpet non-vanilla items?

I did no tweaks. All I did was make certain mods actually load up without ID errors. The dusts should be compatible, but again, contact the developer of the mod for more information.
