I don't mean WR-CBE ! I'm trying to make an automated animal farm but the Insulated Redstone Conduits (Ender IO) seem to cause a LOT of lag (tested with OPIS). The redstone control is crucial for the automation, so I need a way to "induce" a redstone signal into the machines (I'm using MFR), because I'm not having a lot of space. I tried a transvector interface (TC4), but the redstone signal doesn't go through.
I've also tried Remote IO but it's the same (unless I've used it wrong; I've tried the Redstone Upgrade, but it does something else from what I want). Is it possible to do something like this ?

Don't you have any sides free? Even if they are blocked with walls you can just use something like Project Red wires and cover them up with microblock covers to make it part of the wall.

Well yes, I can, but I was also interested if I could actually do the "redstone induction" thing for future projects

There was a mod that added "Wireless Levers". You basically attuned a lever to a block and then placed the lever anywhere. When flipping the lever it would then not turn on the redstone signal on the block it was attached to but the block it was attuned to. But don't think it had anything that could be exploited to react to other redstone signals/actions other than actually flipping the levers.

I found out that Random Things was that mod. Shame I can only do this with levers...

I have plans for adding something like this to RFTools. But that will not help you right now of course.

I have found that I can simply power the block next to the MFR machine (in this case the block being "Stone 1"), but it's awesome to hear that !

it's not unlimited range, but Tinker's Mechworks signal busses can also send redstone signals wirelessly

If you are using MFR rednet, sometimes you can get away with a "forced" connection to the block to make the rednet connect. That will sometimes work. It of course depends on what you are doing. Automagy (TC4 Addon) has redcrystal that allows you to send a signal wirelessly up to about 20 blocks, and if you need to go further, you can link them via mirrors. I also believe redstring from botania allows you to send redstone signals wirelessly as well.
