seeds to plantball recipe disabled?

Yet another showstopper for me. I have a nuclear factory going with a tree farm producing frames for the bees that procude my tin, copper and uranium. Since i had so many surplus saplings, i decided to use them for a biomass power plant, which is powering all the machines that keep the nuke reactor fed with uranium cells and maintaining the bee farm. Part of this are a couple small wheat farms feeding wheat and seeds into the biofuel section.

Then I added GregTech (running FTB Unleashed, added gt mod from unhinged)

so where do I enable the plantball recipe for seeds? I tried digging in the GT configs and couldnt find anything related to seeds or plantballs.

But at bare minimum you should provide which version of GregTech and which version of IC2 you're running. Even modpacks have different versions.

May not be what you want to read is below this, but you can still use the seeds to make seed oil and use that in either the biogas engine, 3MJ/tick for 10,000 ticks or semifluid generator, 2k EU/bucket.

I do not believe you can. Since it is an IC2 recipe he probably does not see the need or requirement to add an option to re-enable it. He mostly only adds options to the changes he does to other mods recipes. Also this is an older version of GregTech and he as many other modders do not support older versions unless they have to.
