I am running a server, minecraft 1.42 and Feed the Beast (Beta Pack A v12, when I stop the server and I delete world, then start server, when the new world appears the world is almost all covered in water, you can clearly a land mass under the water.
I have tried seed generator Rapsodia" OR "386146623 and put in world generator settings landsize 98.
I am putting these values in through McMyAdmin control panel, any ideas on how to stop the new world land mass being under water?

the seeds your trying are they 1.4.2 seeds? or from a different mc version? An other problem might be that several mods "ïnfect" "the worldgeneration wich could give you a different result then with a vannilla installation.

Does this also happen when you don't enter any seed in MCMA?

The seed was from this FTB, forum, ie; from the post; Seed: "Rapsodia" OR "386146623" (Both work the same but i thought I'll write them here anyway...) Biomes: Meadows, Ex.Jungle, M.Taiga, Savanna, Shrulblands, Autumn Forest.
not sure if it was MC 1.42 seeds?
I tried some random numbers and a variety of different text was still getting land mass underwater, although a few high points, looked like islands..
This time I did not put in any seed number and it seems to work ok, land mass is not underwater.
I hope I will see the pretty stuff in FTB, (Extra biomes) I have not explored this world fully but so far it's looks like MC vanilla.

Ps, just noticed you are from the Netherlands, great place, you are probably an expert on keeping water at bay?:)))

Did you find any other biomes yet? Or still not? If not can you post a serverlogfile from the starting of the server?

ps I'm not an expert of keeping water at bay myself, living on the otherside near the belgium and german border.

Thanks, yes I found other biomes, one thing I noticed.. I usually I have spawn village "off" on sever, this time I set it to on, I was very surprised, I came across a village set in the side of a cliff face with gravel paths, it looked pretty good, at first I thought, someone must have sneaked on to the server and built it...
