Screen is flashing while playing Direwolf20's pack

Screen started flashing after I installed Windows 8 32-bit version.

Not that its related, but why 32 bit? I can't think of a reason to run that over 64 bit, 32 bit limits you in terms of memory you can allocate.

Are you using optifine is the first thing that comes to mind.

Do you mean the WHOLE screen or just stuff in world?

Since you just reinstalled Win8-32 did you also update your video drivers and java?

What colors does it flash? Should you report this to the police? Did the flashing appeal to you at all?

Oh, my game always flashes. It's no matter, just a small inconvenience.

I am not using optifine,
the whole screen is flashing but I didn't update my video drivers, I only updated Java and,sadly I can't install 64 bit java on a 32-bit windows.
