Screen Goes Grey when I try to use the Launcher

I've been playing Feed the Beast on my Mac for a while now, and today when I tried to log on, this happened.

The screens went completely grey. How do I fix this?

It's happening for windows users too, except we experience a white screen. after a few minutes, it seems to load. I'm thinking it's some sort of lag/DNS problem between the launcher and the launcher servers. It'll probably clear up soon-ish. Try leaving it open for a few minutes.

same problem here, and not the first time, last time i solved it by downloading noggin's ftb launcher, but even that has the same issue now

edit - the previous comment of waiting a few minutes has worked, i guess i was just impatient

Thanks, I just had to wait! This really helped. However, is there any way you know of to get rid of this lag?

Also (perhaps I just have to wait again) but when I try to download a modpack, the bar doesn't move across the screen at all.

EDIT: Just waiting worked. Never mind!
