Saves have disappeared

I've been playing FTB Unleashed on single player for about three weeks now, and I just copied my world from the saves folder in order to have a back-up. When I started the launcher it downloaded a fresh mod pack, which made all my settings and saves disappear in-game. The weird part is the saves, mods, and coremods folders still have all my stuff. I checked to see if the directory had changed, but it hasn't. I also checked that I was loading the correct mod pack in the launcher, and using the correct username. So essentially the directory is unchanged, but in-game doesn't show any of my saves, mods, etc. Could it be the new minecraft.jar? Any help would be appreciated, Thanks!

Slow down and make a backup of everything. EVERYTHING to be safe. Might want to make a few backup copies if you want to be extra safe.

Now that you have that taken care of. Follow this guide to install the launcher and the packs the recommended way. Once you are sure that the pack works without any complications copy over your save and see if it works. If it does not post a copy of your console log in debug mode to pastebin.com and link to it here. There is a button to do this on the console. Once clicked it will give you a link that you can copy into your post. Look here for more info about the logs.

If you have a backup, just rename the save folder in the modpack folder.
