Save vanished but still in Saves Dir

Description of the Issue: I was playing Monster and the game crashed while moving across terrain while on foot, no speed enhancement. Game just shut down and exited Minecraft. I logged back in and the save game is no longer on the list of saved games, but when I check the directory its still there. Other saves are fine can open them and walk around etc.

Per your crash log, your Java is out of date. Please update it.
You may need to rename that world's save folder.

Console log, pastebin.com link: see above for original, atm last line of console reads, "[Minecraft-Client] Realms: Invalid session id", when I try to paste the console log to pastebin it comes up with "Read timed out" in Red

I downloaded new Java having first removed old versions, did restart etc.
Renamed the Save Folder and made a copy etc.
I still don't see the original save folder under new name or the copied folder.
If the old world is dead no biggy, its a test pack, all good, I just want to try to avoid a repeat with future worlds.

Dont worry. your save is fine. Its just taking a vacation.
No seriously, just move your character to another area with MCedit.
