Saplings In Chests..

I'm Using the latest version of the Mindcrack Mod pack.

Can all or any of these saplings be gotten from chests? And if so How rare are they to find in a chest?

• Balsa
• Acacia
• Cherry
• Teak

Not anymore no. They were relegated to breeding only with one of the more recent updates. Unless you have chunks generated during that time, you're going to have to take up tree breeding.

So they were able to be found in chests when the mindcrack pack was released tho? Because thats when I made the world.

Yes, but not newly generated chunks.

Hmm now to decide what to do about my friend that plays on the server with me he has 1 of each of those he claims he found in chests when we made the server. (he had access to nei and was op at the time tho) SO since they obviously want us to breed trees to get those now i might see if he will get rid of them i dunno, It feels cheap that he has them and didnt have to do anything to get them when you are supposed to have to breed trees together to get them. Not a huge deal I guess but its principle.

If you are implying cheating, then consider when the server was started, and how long it was until you then updated.
They could have been found legit.
They want you to breed them now, but back then they wanted you to find them also.
