Safari net and openPeripherals

For all you Computercraft wizards:

Is there a way to read the entity stored inside a safari net through open peripherals /computercraft?

I have been experimenting but cannot seem to find how the net actually stores the entity info...

Doesn't look like there is, best I can make out. This may be version-dependent, though - as OpenPeripheral has to deal with a lot of other mods, functionality comes and goes.
