Details of the issue:
Just a question for the skilled... I stupidly did an alt f4 close while in game, and had to recover the world. Everything seems the same, but now I have serious fps lag in the exact same world with the same modpack. It's custom with gregtech, and I do have a few multi block machines if that could matter. Anyone know why that could've happened, and more so how I can fix it? It was working great before my alt f4 stupidity! Thanks!​

A world back up would be my first idea. Maybe even a backup of the entire minecraft folder. This might prevent data loss from trying everything to get the game up and running again.
Have you tried loading the world in MCedit, saving it. Then running it again?
What exactly do you mean by recover the world? Restoring it from a backup?
