Details of the issue:

When getting to 3/7 starting up the modpack, it stops and a message pops up saying that I dont have enough memory when I have put 4GB into it when i have 16GB in my computer​

If you are using Curse check the memory settings from both Curse and Minecraft launcher.

Check that you don't have that setting in as a system variable in windows as that will override any other setting for memory allocation. Use the link below to check.

Details of the issue:
When getting to 7/7 I get an out of memory error and I know I have enough memory. I have 12gb of memory and I don't know how to fix it.
