running a modpack

so, i downloaded a modpack, it was regrowth in the third party modpacks. it downloaded fine, but after i finished and closed, when i opened it again it needed to redownload, and so did all the files. is there a way to just run the modpack without having to download the whole thing again every time?

You should only need to download a version once. When updates come out it will need to download the files again. An update might of happened whilst you were playing

That's not it, because now I cannot run it and an error code pops up in the code window when I try to launch it, then ftb crashes. Other mod packs work, but it is just the regrowth pack that doesn't work now.
