Well, from what I can tell blutricity is a bit underused. The main discussions I see in this forum pertaining to energy, etc. is mainly with EU/MJ. Red alloy and all the like are easily replaced by other redstone mods. Though pneumatic tubes and all the other brass components are convenient for item transport/sorting, even I had overlooked it in lieu of BC piping/AE.

Though I am not sure what the real representation of hardcore RP users are in this forum, I feel like it isn't a game "breaking" mod. As in it's never really a huge topic of discussion and the workaround of not having it cannot compare to those who are trying to integrate GT into Unleashed and the like.

I loved bluectric power, I loved redpower 2 and it's uses what I didn't love is the fact there was no real way to get TONS of it. it was all very tiny amounts and never felt like a proper mod. Yes the redpower things could be done by other mods but that sorting system... when watching it in action was just amazing. AE is a lot like computercraft for me I love the system and how it runs but I hate that it's the end all. Sorting systems were just a marvel to watch working because for me it's like I physically put in all variables and it wasn't that difficult to flub and when I did it just was a simple fix not endless hours of walking through code to find out what to change.

I do hope it comes out for 1.6 and on because it had so much potential I just think the mod author either forgot about her original plans for the mod or is just not into it any more. Either way let others continue your work and enjoy the fact you started that.

To be honest I would prefer if it didn't get updated.. As people have said before, there are already mods replacing pretty much every aspect of RP2. I also feel like Eloraam isn't the nicest when she keeps telling us we will have updates when we really don't.
In my opinion, RP2 would do more worse than good if it was updated and added to Unleashed, as that would break Slowpoke's great view of that worlds should be able to go along with the updates.

I didn't know about that from Eloraam.. seems like a way of keeping the community sedated when the mod author has no real interest in keeping it going just wanting said attention. Everything I've been hearing about her is negative and that doesn't really sound like something I'd want to be apart of. I shalt change my answer from "Hope it's updated.." to "Panda Onions!"

Also it's entirely too late for me..

A talented modder with good intentions who became a victim of her own success. Her mod attracted a huge audience and loyal following, but was unable to meet our expectations for updating in a timely manner. A day's a long time in politics minecraft development.

Anyway, we've moved on now and no doubt will remember her fondly for all the cool things she provided us "back in the day". Thanks Elo.

Yup. I appreciate modders who provide cool and unique content and RP2 most certainly did this. It's only too bad there wasn't proper communication between the modder and the FTB crew which then resulted in long delays.

I think it would've helped if FTB would have made a rule that any worldgen should be open source. That way someone else could have updated the important bits instead if a whole pack being delayed because of a single mod.
