I found this new and cool alternative to RP2 called Project: Red. I know they said Ultimate would not be updated, but the reason for that was becuase of RP2 was not ebing updated as Eloraam fell of the face of the planet. but there is now an alternative. I hope its seriously looked at by the ftb team. I like Minecraft but without mods like RP2 I find it gets boring fast as I am use to doing things I now cant.
I dont like the Vanila lighting in Minecraft and yes I know there are other mods that do offer some other lighting but its not much and sucks, the more lighting types the better. Since RP2 cant be / is not in the most uptodate FTB packs I cant use them. Some of the RP2 lighting and other features I have come acustomed to have become a requirment for me.
When I play Minecraft(ussualy on a server) I make house's, buildings, towns, shops, and machine related stuff like highly automated elevators with opening and closing doors for eveyone on the server to use, and when I build this stuff I need/want it to look good and work good, glowstone lighting is not that graet if your going for a modern feel.
anyway thats my rant, I feel better, I guess I needed to write all that.
