The user is clearly not technically adept or interested in making modifications to the pack. In such instances the user may be a youth or otherwise disadvantaged, and while the argument could be made that the mods in question are potentially "not for" him or her as a result, its not really appropriate for us to say so or to deride them for their possible inability to make these modifications.
Technically inept and/or young or disadvantaged does not mean someone cannot understand that "v23" is not "v25z", or that they were repeatedly told to use it. Anyone who really does fail to understand that really does have zero chance of using RC beyond "copy this design online and wonder why it doesn't work".

That is precisely what that means. Moreover, the op didn't demonstrate any explicit lack of understanding of versions. He simply stated the versions he was going to be using, a strong indication that he plays modpacks in a fire-and-forget fashion which is not only acceptable for players but any launcher's ideal ultimate goal. We provided advice and assistance, that's all we can do.

This is absolutely none of your business. If they want to play along with youtube and figure out absolutely nothing on their own, that's up to them.

Really the only appropriate response here from you is "Sorry for being a bit of an asshat."

And since I'm being a bit of a forum czar myself, sorry for being a bit of an asshat.

First you report a bug from a version a year and a half old (even outdated for any pack using RC), then when repeatedly told to update to 25z, you half-ass it to v23? How are you able to get anywhere with RC with that lack of effort and/or reading comprehension?

If you ever expect support or help with anything ever again, I want to see proof that you are at least using v25z, and even then, many bugs since then have been fixed for 1.7.10. If you ignore what people are saying again and make further pleas for help when using a version so badly out of date, you will not enjoy the resultant discussion.

I've not asked for your help, but the one from the community, also bacause I know the modpack is outdateted and I will never ask official help for that, I've said that I'll use the v23 BECOUSE IS IN THE PACK, so people a little more able than me have worked to put that in the ModPACK in the right way for working, second thing, with the v23 or also the 25z (and yes, I've update all correlate mod manually, fixing the ID truble and all) the "Engine Running Sounds" dosen't work anymore so I've removed the machine (and the sound modifier is not the same thing).
Ps. Your mods are good and really well made, but in any case your manners, without knowing all the story, are really bad (and not only in this post), and second, I will enjoy for shure the resultant discussion!

You have no idea how many people report bugs while using old versions, and how large of a fraction of them do so knowingly, even after having been told to update, and how many people will hide or even falsify their version in an attempt to weasel support.

I know really well don't worry, that can be frustrating beyond belief, but it's not always like that.

The vast majority of the time, it is, and as a result it is a statistically safe assumption; getting it wrong one time in fifty is acceptable given the time savings. Sticking with old versions of packs (as you did with what I strongly suspect was Monster, given the version numbers you were using) makes this doubly true, as generally speaking, if someone does not update their pack within a few weeks of a new version, they never do, and often trying to get them to do so is met with hostility.

No, writed above, is Tech World 2, and the last version of the pack is already very old, i'm thinking of switching all to direwolf but there is no rotary or reactor craft, but maybe I can do a manual installation.

There are also third-party packs which feature Reika's mods.

One of the nice things about the third-party packs is that they tend to receive more frequent updates and attention these days. There's a good chance you'll find one that suits your tastes and has Reika's mods fully or nearly up to date.

Also that is a good idea.
The only thing now I need to solve is why the configuration for making the motors of rotarycraft silents is not working after the update to the latest version, maybe is a conflict with some others outdated mod. I'll try change the mod packs making some tests.

I seem to remember that option being removed entirely a long time ago.

I found that in the .cfg freshly generated after the update (i've deleted the older one), the only one working now for stopping the sound is the "sound modifier". But it's not a big problem, It's only because one of my friend is having some fps problems with the sound enabled, anyway the "sound modifier" is almost ok now, and with a sound muffler is working good again.

1.7 fixes the sound FPS issues.

Question has been answered, discussion is treading in dangerous territory in terms of tone.
