Hey guys,

I started a map on FTB Infinity Evolved (3.0.2) with Rotarycraft (21b) and reactorcraft.
Those mods are awesome, I'm having a great time discovering them.

But i'm facing an issue to go further on the rotarycraft power tier.

For now i've reached the hydrokinetic generators, with diamond shafts. That brings me to a maximum of 2MW by combining 4 of them.

To craft the microturbine, gas turbine or tier 3 magnetostatic engine, I need more than 2MW:
- For the turbines, I need a high-temperature combustor. Which can be get in a blast furnace at 1100°C. With my 4 hydrokinetic engines and a lava bucket, the max I can get is 990°C.
- For a tier 3 magnetostatic engine, I need tungsten, smelted in a furnace at 1350°C. Same thing, I can only reach a temperature of 1000°C.
- To get bedrock, and combine more than 4 engines, I need 4MW.

So how can I get more than 2MW, and continue with the rotarycraft tiers?
Did I miss something?

Thanks for answers.

Hiya mandrick. I wanna revisit the 1100C thing. Can you please triple-check that requirement? I think you're right, I just wanna be sure.

Regarding the blast furnace: I don't think the lava matters here because you're going to be using the friction heater, and iirc they don't combine (correct me if you find otherwise)

Are you aware that the friction heater works best when the torque/speed are as close to equal as possible?

I did this stuff just a few weeks ago and i don't remember hitting a particularly nasty wall.

That what I missed. Just tried to get closer ratio and I managed to get my 1100°C.
You saved me on this. Thanks
