RotaryCraft: Shaftpower trough Mystcraft portals

Hi!

I have a Problem with Mystcraft Portals and connecting them with shafts through Dimeonsions.
The Rotarycraft Version is 1.6 v25z.

My Problem is that the bedrock shafts don't connect to my Portal. if have tested it in singleplayer on a superflat map.The first portal is on -2 1 5 The other Portal in the other age too. The direction is from west to east. Both portals are chunkloaded with quarries. The link books are linked IN the portal from the counterpart. What did i wrong?

Try clicking on the portal bocks adjacent to the shafts with another shaft block. I remember Reika saying something about that a while back.

Also, are the portals at exactly the same locations in the two dimensions? That is, if you open your F3 debug menu and stand in the portals (while they're inactive), do you get the same coordinates?

Well, in that case, I'm stumped. You may also need to make sure that the shafts on both sides of the portal both face the same direction- i.e. into one portal from the south, and out the other toward the north- but I've never tested it. All I know is from a post @Reika made on this forum a while back about nether portals. The process might be different for Mystcraft portals.

I'm surprised that this feature of RoC isn't documented as well as the rest of the mod. Maybe he's waiting until he makes his own portals.

Nether, MystCraft, End, and TF portals all share the same mechanics.

Most likely. I should really stop posting before doing some research.

Those look really cool. I'm looking forward to messing with them... when I get around to it.

Does this mean you've removed the shafts-through-Mystcraft-portals feature in vanilla RotaryCraft? More importantly, does it work in 1.6.4 v25z, and, if so, how do you make it work?

The feature remains and always will.
