I've connected a shaft power bus controller to a turbine (for steam from a reactor) I've made. The shaft power bus has lubricant, and reports that a ton of energy is coming in.

I've connected a shaft power bus to the side (have tried all three), placed a diamond shaft into the colored slot appropriate for the side I've put a dynometer onto. However, nothing works.

I've tried putting the dynometer on all sides, made sure it's connected the right way with the screw driver, but I can never see any output at all. I've even tried the 2:1 gears instead of shafts.

The controller bus reports tons of input energy, but nothing ever comes out. What might I be missing?

I think you need to use a normal steel Shaft Unit instead of the diamond one. The shafts and gears don't follow the normal load limits in the shaft power bus.

This might be just me, but I've also observed that if you place the controller AFTER the individual buses, it doesn't output power. Now I always ensure I place the controller first and then attach buses.
