How do you automate HSLA Steel? I can auto-input iron into the blast furnace, but no sand, coal coke or gunpowder.

As far as I managed to work out, it'll auto-refill if you already have some in the slot.

I use ME Export buses and it seems to work

Haven't tried this yet, but could a logistics supply pipe with an item placement card put the items in the right slots?

Of course making sure they never empty is much easier, I've used AE, and also item ducts with success.
