I put a bucket of fuel into a fuel powered engine a few hours ago... It hasn't stopped :p. Any way to find out how long fuel is supposed to burn for, or whether it's burning at all? Tried to use computercraft, but the peripheral wouldn't wrap

I don't think reika is needed for this one... I'll call down a lesser deity. I summon @Padfoote and @ThatOneSlowking. I should probably look into RoC instead of just calling for you tell when anybody asks a question...

It helps if you get our names right. :p

Angular Transducer should (IIRC) tell you how much run time is left with the fuel.

Doesn't seem to do anything. Works on the gasoline engine.

It only lists the coordinates of the block and its name. No power output, nothing.

IIRC it should tell you how long the fuel will last. If it isn't, then I have a feeling either I can't remember things correctly, or there's no fuel in the engine.

If there's no fuel, why does everything attached to it keep running? And why don't my peripherals work?

RotaryCraft V22
BuildCraft 4.2.2
ComputerCraft 1.63

Is this a bug @Reika?

ECU can stop your engine and make it go ay 25-50-75% (IIRC) of its max speed, and uses up to 4x less fuel (for the same powa)

IIRC it works with redstone signal : a 15 would disable it

Oh, right. Forgot that. Still, it runs for hours on a bucket of fuel... Without the ECU. And I can't get info from it using the transducer or computercraft

Right click engine, GUI pops up and shows how much fuel is inside and time left.
At least that's how I've done it... I believe 1 ethanol crystal = 10 minutes on regular engine

Try WAILA.
Ok, WAILA reports fuel draining. However, it's really slow. A single fuel engine managed to get my boring machine 700 blocks at max size, using 3/4 of a bucket. Is that right? Also, why doesn't computercraft work?
