Hello boys and girls,

I saw on NEI this red type of plank and it turns out it is rosewood (in the DW20 pack). Now I am roaming biome after biome trying to find the tree and maybe get a few saplings but with no luck.

Does anyone know in which biome should I look for rosewood?

I'd have to double check, but that sounds like a Forestry/Extra Trees tree. Which means you won't find it out in the world, you have to breed trees to make it.

That explains a lot - ty. I haven't noticed that little bit :)
Any tips on which trees to cross breed for that?

Unless they've changed things, you should be able to NEI the breeding for it, just look for the recipe for the sapling, and follow the chain down.

You also should note that wailia will tell you which mod an item comes from. If its says natura or BoP, you may not see it because the biomes it occurs in are disabled. Not every biome is enabled by default in the DW20 pack. If its forestry, yea you have to research it. Also note, some trees are represented in both forestry, natura, and BoP. Acacia trees come to mind as an example.

If you're also using Gendustry, it makes it relatively easy to collect pollen (pollen sieve in an industrial apiary w/ any flower pollinating bees) and mutate species rapidly to get the ones you want (advanced mutatron) and the industrial grafter will give you lots of saplings.

And Willow Trees. Gods, they're in Forestry as a Biome specific mutation(well, humidity IIRC), but also in both BoP and Natura occurring naturally in swamp-like Biomes.
