Ridiculous relog timer.

Hi all,

Been having some issues on the server with some ridiculous implementation by nobody knows who. Pretty much what is happening, on random occasions, when a player (including me) re-logs, they get a message denying them from logging in and saying something along the lines of "You must wait X minutes before logging in again!"

If anyone could give me some sort of solution to this or even better getting a way to remove this totally would be appreciated. I'm pretty sure it would be by some other server admins too...

I believe essentials has a feature like that, don't know if you have it installed but if you do, I would reconfig it

I have got essentials and actually didn't anticipate it doing that. I'll have a look and get back to you.

Gone through the configuration and it appears this is nothing to do with Essentials, I'll update the thread if I find out what it is as it may help some people.

Sounds like NoCheatPlus, but that would be a counter-intuitive plugin to have on a Forge server. Can you give us a list of your Bukkit plugins? It could be a Forge mod I suppose but it seems more like something a plugin would do.

Definitely not NoCheat, It's not been installed. I see where you're coming from as it's something that does definitely sound like it...

try turning off the anti spam features in grief prevention, they may have something to do with it.

connection-throttle
The delay before a client is allowed to connect again after a recent connection attempt. A value of 0 disables the connection throttle but leaves your server susceptible to attacks (only recommended for test servers). (long, milliseconds)

Default: 4000
