RFTools help (Dimlet Filter)

Heya!

I seem to have an issue with the dimlet filter from RFTools, whatever I do and however I try to set it up nothing happens, it just fills up with dimlets and then.. Nothing.

Is there anyone here that can give me some pointers how to set it up correctly with for example the "Modular Storage" so I can store all my dimlets with ease?

I'm currently running the latest FTB Infinity Evolved pack.

I took some serious time for you to get a response, but this thread was pretty high in my google results, so let's hope this helps someone.
I think that the outputs needs to be connected to things that have an inventory and are also pulling items. This excludes at least
-chests (no pulling)
-enderIo item conduits (no inventory)

Most other "item pipe" -like things should have no problems. I tested it with item ducts, PneumaticCraft's hoppers and vanilla hoppers. Vanilla hoppers of course only pull from the bottom.
