I have the builder set up with 5 magmatic generators each with 10 speed upgrades. That is a base of 200 RF/T plus whatever difference the speed upgrades makes and it is still draining RF faster than I can pipe it in. How much RF/T do I need to feed this thing to run while still producing a slight surplus?
 
As far as I know it can consume upwards of 2,000 RF/t on some blocks. More so if upgrades are installed like the silk touch or fortune cards.

Your best bet is to set up some kind of energy storage ... Even a lower tier draconic orb ... And wirelessly transfer the power to it. Then just run it in cycles similar to what DW does.
 
last time i used it took alot of rf/t even more if you use fortune or silk touch cards i remember my silk touch quarry needed like 10k+ rf/t to run at full speed
